Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Lyrical Video Maker mobile application (the "App") and the website lyricalvideomaker.digitalindia.support, provided by Digital India Support ("we", "us" or "our").

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your country), you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal and non-commercial use.

You must not:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the App;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where permitted by law;
• remove, hide or alter any copyright, trademark or proprietary notices;
• use bots, scripts or automated means to access the App or generate fraudulent ad clicks or impressions;
• attempt to bypass any security feature or paid feature of the App.

Your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

3. Your Content & Copyright

"Your Content" means photos, images, music, audio, lyrics, text and any other material you add to the App, and the videos you create with it.

• Ownership: You retain all rights to Your Content. Your Content is processed on your device, and we do not claim ownership of it.
• Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for Your Content and for how you use and share the videos you create.
• Music and lyrics: Songs, music and lyrics are usually protected by copyright. The App does not provide any license to copyrighted songs or lyrics. You must make sure you own, or have permission from the rights holder to use, any music, lyrics, photos or other material you add. Using copyrighted material without permission may violate the law and the rules of the platforms where you share it.
• Personal use: Videos made with the App are intended for personal, non-commercial use such as status updates and sharing with friends and family, unless you have obtained all necessary rights for commercial use.
• Privacy of others: Do not use photos of other people without their consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to create, store or share content that:

• infringes any copyright, trademark, privacy or other right of any person;
• is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors, including any child sexual abuse material;
• is defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence or discrimination based on religion, caste, race, gender or any other characteristic;
• impersonates any person, or is deliberately false or misleading, including deepfakes or misinformation;
• promotes illegal activities, gambling, drugs or weapons;
• threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or friendly relations with other countries;
• otherwise violates any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

We are not responsible for content created by users. We may cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required by law.

5. Our Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, logo, name, templates, graphics, fonts, effects, animations and other content provided by us ("App Materials"), is owned by or licensed to Digital India Support and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use App Materials only within videos you create with the App for personal use. You may not extract, resell or redistribute App Materials separately.

6. Advertisements & In-App Purchases

• Ads: The App is free and supported by advertisements provided by third parties such as Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any products or services advertised.
• In-app purchases: Some features, templates or an ad-free experience may be offered for a fee. All payments are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policy. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and include applicable taxes where required.
• Subscriptions (if offered): Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions from Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to the Google Play refund policy. You may also contact us for help.

7. Third-Party Services & Sharing

The App may let you share videos to third-party apps such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, and it uses third-party services as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites or content.

8. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that any template, image, font or other material provided within the App infringes your copyright, please email support@digitalindia.support with:

1. your name and contact details;
2. a description of the copyrighted work;
3. a description of where the material appears in the App;
4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner or the law;
5. a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
6. your physical or electronic signature.

We will review valid complaints and remove infringing material promptly. Note that videos created by users are stored on their own devices and are not hosted by us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device, or that videos will always be saved without loss. Please keep backups of important content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital India Support and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is higher.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digital India Support from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if required by law. We may also modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Sections 3, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us. If not resolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. If you are a consumer residing in another country, you may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws of your country.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be notified within the App. By continuing to use the App after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

15. Contact Us & Grievance Officer

For questions, complaints or grievances about these Terms or the App, contact us. Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days, as required under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
